I have 30 years of experience in designing album covers. I started out designing covers and flyers for my own band as a teenager way before design software was accessible to the general public, and my work has evolved over the years as technology has evolved. But, even with the advanced technology today, I never forget to give my designs a human touch. I don’t believe AI will ever catch up with the human imagination and the empathy that follows because it can only regenerate and synthesize concepts that have already been thought of. Being a seasoned musician myself, I understand how important concept and image are in the musical world. In order to attract the right audience, the image must properly represent the music behind it. I use a vast array of different techniques and programs to make the most compelling and accurate designs needed by musicians.
