Project 6: Angel Tech
Angel Tech is an experimental band that delves into various genres such Electronic, Electro Pop, Psychedelic, Industrial and Soundscapes. “Angel Tech: Self-Titled” is thier second LP. They are very hard to categorize so it was a challenge to represent their music in a clear and suitable way.
Angel Tech’s self-titled album has a sound that is almost beyond description, but for lack of a better a genre we will call them Electro-Pop/Industrial. The band name alone is too gripping not to be represented by a design that is completely on-the-nose. Since the Electronic element is such a crucial aspect of their sound, I made the cover art very futuristic and tech orientated. But they are more than just a cold electronic band; they also have a very emotional, human feel as well. They are an example of a band whose name precedes their essence, and they have conveyed that well in their music.
