Bride Of Earth is a Goth/Psychedelic/Electronic band that knows no bounds when it comes to genre, style and emotional content. Based in Detroit, Michigan.
Bride Of Earth’s self-titled debut album was a very unique and eclectic accomplishment. Since it was their debut album they wanted a design that would be right on-the-nose. I used earthy colors with a sharp and thorny font to convey the feel of the music. This album used more acoustic instrumentation rather than a lot of Electronic instruments like samplers and synthesizers, and so the earthy, raw feel was the best way to represent the music behind the design. There is always some element of experimentation and psychedelia in their work so they added a design that eludes to such an influence in a less direct way.
