Project 3: Boombonix- Pre-Murder Signals
Boombonix is primarily a Metal/Electronic band that really pushes the envelope of what the genre could and should be in our new technological age. They hail from the scorching terrain of Austin Texas and they exude an intense and no-nonsense attitude in their work.
Pre-Murder signals is the album that really brought Boombonix to a whole new level of intensity, aggression and experimentation. I redesigned their logo for them and gave it a glitchy, post-modern look. I used the image of an ape with a hatchet to compliment the bold and threating LP title. As not to forget the Experimental and Electronic aspect of their music , I distorted the image to give it a fractal and post-modern look with contrasting shades of blue and red. The cover has proven to be a perfect representation of their heavy, tech-driven songs, and it has really helped to attract the right kind of listeners.
